Flight to Marrakech, nicknamed the Red City for its deep walls, squares and buildings. After landing, your driver will welcome you for a transfer to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, explore the winding streets of the city, discover the fragrant markets, spectacular architecture and local cuisine. Night or day, walk near the medina and marvel at the colorful stalls offering fabrics, leather goods and Berber carpets. Night in Marrakech.
After breakfast, transfer to the village of Tamadout, starting point of the trek, where a team of muleteers and cooks will be waiting for you. Begin the hike via the Tizi N'Lbour pass (1600 m), cross Berber villages and admire breathtaking landscapes where red mountains contrast with apple, walnut and olive orchards. Night with a local family.
After breakfast, cross the Tacht pass (2000 m) to reach the beautiful Azzaden valley. Enjoy a harmonious mix of moderately steep climbs and descents through an enchanting wooded landscape. Descend on the other side of the valley to Id Aissa, a charming village nestled in the heart of the Azzaden valley, before arriving at your lodge in Tizi Oussem. Night at the lodge.
Breakfast and departure from the village of Id Aissa to climb towards the Tizi Oudid pass (2100 m) crossing a juniper forest. This stage offers breathtaking panoramas, revealing the preserved beauty of the region. Cross the Tifirt Plateau and have lunch with a stunning view of the Toubkal summit (4167 m). Continue your journey through the Berber village of Mattat to reach Aguersoual. Night with a local family.
Breakfast and head towards the Aguersoual pass (2000 m). Break to admire the superb view over the Imnane valley before returning to the village of Aguersoual for lunch. Transfer to Marrakech to enjoy the end of your stay. Night in Marrakech.
Breakfast then transfer to Marrakech airport according to your flight plan. End of your stay.
