The Saharan Odyssey: 3 Exceptional Days from Marrakech to the Merzouga Dunes Day 1: Marrakech – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Todra Gorges Your journey begins with a spectacular crossing of the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Your first stop will be the legendary Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, an architectural jewel classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. After an immersion in the history of this ancient caravan city, you will hit the road again towards the Skoura Oasis and the Valley of Roses in Kelaa M'Gouna, famous for its delicate fragrances. The day ends in a grand finale in the majestic Todra Gorges. You will enjoy a refined dinner there before spending the night in a charming establishment, nestled in the hollow of the dizzying cliffs. Day 2: Todra Gorges – Erfoud – The Immensity of Merzouga After breakfast facing the limestone walls, you will head towards the great South. The landscape transforms along the Tafilalet valley, where palm groves stretch as far as the eye can see. After a gourmet stop in Erfoud, the capital of fossils and dates, you will finally reach the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. For a total sensory experience, you will begin a camel ride in the heart of the dunes to witness a legendary sunset. The evening will continue around a crackling campfire, punctuated by traditional Berber songs, before joining your luxury bivouac for a starry night under the sign of serenity. Day 3: Merzouga – N’Kob – Draa Valley – Marrakech The awakening of the desert offers an unforgettable light show at sunrise on the sand ridges. After a hearty breakfast at the camp, you will begin your return journey through lunar landscapes and preserved oases. You will pass through the authentic villages of Tazzarine and N’Kob, famous for their mud-brick kasbahs, before reaching the lush Draa Valley in Agdz. After a lunch with local flavors, you will cross the Tizi-n-Tinififft pass to return to Ouarzazate, then Marrakech at the end of the day. Your private driver will drop you off at your residence, thus closing an extraordinary human and visual adventure.
