Sahara Expedition: Private Immersion in the Wild Dunes of Erg Chigaga This private trip is entirely customizable according to your aspirations, dates, and comfort preferences, for a bespoke experience signed Luxury Maroc Voyage. Day 1: Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Erg Lihoudi Your adventure begins from Ouarzazate aboard a comfortable 4x4 vehicle. You will take the legendary road of the kasbahs, crossing the Agdez oasis and the lush palm grove of Zagora. After a lunch with local flavors, you will set course for M'hamid, the gateway to the desert, to reach your first bivouac at Erg Lihoudi. It is here, facing the first great dunes, that you will witness a spectacular sunset before enjoying a traditional dinner under the celestial vault. The night in the middle of the desert will offer you absolute serenity. Day 2: M'hamid – Sacred Oasis – Majestic Erg Chigaga After waking up to the calm of the Sahara, enjoy a peaceful camel ride in M'hamid, a true immersion in the nomadic rhythm. Lunch will be served in the shade of a palm grove, a moment of coolness before venturing deeper into the wild desert. Your 4x4 will then take you to Erg Chigaga, the vastest and highest dunes in the region. Tonight, your luxury bivouac awaits you at the foot of the sand ridges for a gourmet dinner and an unforgettable night under the stars, far from any civilization. Day 3: Lake Iriqui – Taznakht – Ouarzazate The sunrise over the peaks of Chigaga is a moment of pure magic not to be missed. After breakfast, you will begin a memorable crossing of the desert via Lake Iriqui, a dry plateau offering striking lunar landscapes, and Foum Zguid. The return route will take you to Taznakht, a famous center for weaving artisanal Berber carpets. You will return to Ouarzazate in the late afternoon, with your head full of the grandiose panoramas of the great Moroccan South.
